I was first inspired by photography during my early 20's while serving in the military in Italy. During a lenghty hiatus when family and career were a piority, photography was never far from mind or heart. In 2006 photography again came to the forefront revealing new passions, interesting challenges and creative learning opportunities.
There's a philosophy that says "The camera looks both ways -- in picturing the subject, we are also picturing a part of ourselves."
I certainly believe this of my own journey and work. Therefore with each photo I strive for improvment, discovery and understanding. I love the technical side of digital photography while honoring the artistic endeavors. Photography and life are about balance.
My photographs are available for purchase in multiple print sizes and formats including framed prints. Simply click the 'Buy' button or shopping cart icon when viewing any individual image. If you are interested in a certain size or format that is not listed when ordering, please contact me.

I live in a small town in central North Carolina and am semi-retired. I work part time providing computer support for a local agency which provides financial help, shelter, food and clothing for those in dire need. I enjoy traveling and photographing each new discovery. I'm always adding more things to do and places to see to my bucket list.
Be sure and say hello either in my guest book or via a comment on a photo you like.
